The story

In August 2025, Zoei, age 9, was learning about propagating plants through R.E.A.L. School home academics and had an idea. Just like Jesus multiplied five loaves and two fish to feed the five thousand, Globe Changers Kidz could propagate plants, goof-ify them, and sprinkle smiles for free on community heroes and retirement homes. That is how Propagatin' Smiles was born. You can't look at a goofy Smiley without smiling!

Propagatin' Smiles is a game-ified local community program of Sprinklin' Light Worldwide, a global movement by Globe Changers Kidz. Every step, every story, every soul matters.

How a Smiley is born

1

Gather supplies

A parent plant with babies, clear water bottles with the labels removed (one cut a quarter of the way up, one cut in half), soil, and water.

2

Propagate

Fill the quarter-cut bottle with water, cut a baby off the parent plant, and set it in the water. Baby spider plants took about 2 weeks.

3

Plant in soil

When the roots are over an inch long, fill the half-cut bottle with soil and plant the baby.

4

A Smiley is born

Decorate your baby plant into a goofy Smiley and give it away!
